Farmers’ Market

The Bloomington Farmers’ summer market is ending soon.  Our last market will be the Holiday Market on November 26th (Saturday after Thanksgiving) from 10am till 3pm.  This will be Sweet Claire’s last market until next April.    Nel will be going on her long vacation and will not be back until March 2017.

The market is held at the Bloomington City Hall parking lot and the prepared foods section is closer to Rogers Street (than Morton St) by the B line.  You will not have a difficult time finding our orange tent to complement our orange food truck.  See you there.

Some of our pictures.  Most of  our baked goods (and filling) have international pedigrees:  brioche, kolaches, and pandesal.  Our flower-shaped doughnuts have been popular this year.  The doughnut recipe is a take on the Berliner (German doughnut).  We only use butter in the mix and canola oil for frying.

Our German springerle cookies are also available as wedding favors.  We can change the flavor (strawberry, vanilla, almond) if you are not fond  of the traditional anise.  Give us a call or send us an email and the labels can be customized according to your design and preference.
